思うにプロというものは，仕事において必要とあらば私情を排除できる人間を指すのではないでしょうか？聞くところによると，この曲に描かれているのはCalvin Harrisが当時付き合っていた凄腕の刺客(Taylor Swift)のことなんだとか。I Nee Your LoveやOutsideに当時の彼女のEllie Gouldingを使っていたことを考えればそれも十分考えられます。だとすればここで刺客が起用されそうなものですが，実際にはそうではなく，代わりにWe Found LoveやWhere Have You BeenでコラボしたRihanna先輩と今回も組んでいます。
I think a professional is someone who can put their personal feelings aside when it's necessary at work.  Some people say this song is about Taylor Swift who was Calvin Harris' girlfriend at that time.  Considering he featured then girlfriend Ellie Golding in his I Nee Your Love and Outside, it's very likely.  This time, however, he seems to get out of a rut.  He teamed with Rihanna who he collaborated with in his We Found Love and Where Have You Been instead.

最初は気づかなかったのですが，和訳してみるとこの曲は，自分のことだけを一途に想ってくれる魅力的かつ素晴らしい恋人（=凄腕の刺客）がいながら，意味なくモテる主人公（=Calvin Harris）が，別の相手（=Rihanna）と浮気をするという内容のようです。

したがって，リードではああ言ったものの，歌詞がこの内容だと確かに当時の彼女（＝刺客）は使いにくいかもしれません。
